To Build Muscle Don’t Believe the Muscle Mags

The Muscle Building Workouts In The Muscle Mags Are Useless

Fact: most bodybuildering workouts that you see in magazines, even those promoted by IFBB pros, are a total waste of time.

Yes these guy’s have incredible amounts of muscle, but their workouts are not nearly half as impressive, and they don’t always give you the best bodybuilding advice.

The truth is that the world of professional bodybuilding is very corrupt and shady, not one that you should get into.

Most of these people have the sort of genes that ensure that their bodies respond to even the most minimal training. And keep in mind this is what they get paid to do. Their lives revolve around workouts, rest, supplements and eating that’s their job. They don’t get up at 5a.m. 5-6 days a week to go to a job.

They often use hormones and steroids as supplements to up the intensity of their weight training workouts.

Steroid use is a matter of choice(and can be a deadly choice), but by using growth hormones and anabolic steroids, these guys are taking a huge risk.

When they workout, they push their bodies beyond all natural limits, and this is not necessarily the kind of approach that you should be following as a part of your daily bodybuilding and weight training program. Workout with intensity yes, but there are limits.

Steroids allow you to go past natural limits and thats dangerous.

Sure these bodybuilders workouts are perfect for genetic freaks (around 1% of the population), but they will not work on people with ordinary genes (the other 99%) and are just a sheer waste of time.

Still, many bodybuilding magazines promote these so called muscle building workouts.

The sad truth is that more than half the content of these magazines is made up of ads for devices and supplements that claim to help you bulk up quickly. Most of these supplement ads as with the newest fad diets and exercise gadgets prey on our desire for the quick fix.

Keep an eye out for such schemes that are disguised as bodybuilders workouts.

The fact is that the pages of these magazines are mostly filled with the “latest breakthrough” that will help you build muscle in a jiffy.

The purpose with most of these magazines is selling the mag but even bigger is the profits they make from you buying their supplements and exercise gadgets.

Sure, there is always room for the right kinds of supplements.

These supplements include protein powder and creatine, both of which can help you attain your bodybuilding goals, if you do your workouts properly.

Don’t be fooled into following bodybuilders workouts that promote the use of myostatin, citrulline, and ecdysterone.

Believe me when I say that you will meet your goals much faster without them; these are just marketing gimmicks designed to make you part with your hard-earned money.

I’ve seen it all, and trust me, most bodybuilders workouts are nothing more than a scam.

Beware of magazines that promote bodybuilders workouts; they will do just about anything to get their hands on your money.

As an example I picked up a muscle building mag recently they had a workout by a very famous bodybuilder. Looking over the week long workout I noticed they had more sets listed to do for your biceps than for your back! You’re kidding me right!

And you wonder why you don’t build muscle following these so called muscle building workouts.

Go ahead and read them to find out what the pros are up to, but don’t take the advice to heart because it really won’t help you. If you keep trying to use their workouts you will quickly over train and most likely lose muscle.

Taking their “advice” too literally can sometimes lead to injury and hinder your muscle building progress.

Please don’t treat these bodybuilders workouts as the be-all and end-all advice of how to build muscle.

Just take care of your nutrition and supplements, and perform a healthy workout.
