<p>Most injury experts say that the key is to be on the move even after an injury. Injuries should not mean days in bed acting like a couch potato. It is never fun to deal with, but it can be much more bearable if you take the necessary actions. You may end up dealing with two types of sickness &#8211; short term like the flu or long term from a chronic illness or accident. Here are some things you can do to help you cope whether it is you or your students who are sick.</p>
<p><b>If you are sick:</b></p>
<p>· Take the time you need to get better. Teachers often rush back to work as soon as possible. And while you don&#8217;t want to take unnecessary time off you do need to recuperate. If you don&#8217;t get the proper rest you can end up with a relapse.</p>
<p>· If you keep getting sick or can&#8217;t seem to recover make sure you get check out. It could be something simple but you won&#8217;t know unless you visit a doctor.</p>
<p>· Let others help. Let others know you are sick and that you may need help. Letting your students know you are not feeling well can actually make them more apt to be sympathetic. Let friends, family and fellow teachers carry some of the work load. Let your neighbor bring chicken soup. Enjoy being pampered a bit.</p>
<p>· Don&#8217;t go back to work or overdue it until you are recovered. Your classroom really won&#8217;t fall apart if you are not there. Take your time and don&#8217;t overdo on anything you don&#8217;t have too.</p>
<p><b>If someone else is sick:</b></p>
<p>· Be willing to help out when others are sick. If it&#8217;s a fellow teacher take them chicken soup. Little things make the difference and people do remember the little things.</p>
<p>· If it is a student who is sick give them a break. No one is as patient or tolerant when they are sick as they are normally. If someone is not acting like they normally would cut them some slack. They may not be feeling good. Remember how you feel when you are sick and treat them like you would like to be.</p>
<p>· Encourage the person to take the time to get the rest they need to recover. If they come back to school or work before they are healed it will only mean setbacks. And if the person is contagious, even if they feel well, encourage them to stay home and not to spread the sickness any further.</p>
<p>It doesn&#8217;t matter if you are the picture of health at some point in time you will get sick and need time to relax and heal. And you will have to deal with sick students or coworkers at some point too. Schools are notorious for illness spreading through them like wild fire. Taking care of yourself and helping take care of others is the right thing to do, so be sure to get your annual flu shot and H1N1 vaccination as well. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>You should have, could have, and would have. But you didn&#8217;t. So why put yourself on the path of guilt and regret? How will that help you? Our biggest mistake is making them one. If we fail, let it be forward. If we miss a train, or are late for a flight, if we spent too much money, lost a job, or just broke up with our partner, why do immediately assume the worst? By doing so, we only empower our lack and limitation. And yet, the beautiful natural state of our wellbeing is always waiting for us to return and start trusting.</p>
<p>When we doubt an experience, and/or ourselves we are being given an opportunity to trust. There are endless examples in our world that life always finds a way to make the impossible, possible. Think about it, our planet earth is orbiting around a star, one of billions of stars in this Milky Way galaxy, which is one of billions of galaxies in the known universe. Living on this blue dot in the void of space is proof enough that we can always make anything possible.</p>
<p>Henry Ford once said, &#8220;Whether you think you can or think you can&#8217;t, you&#8217;re right.&#8221; Possibility is only a perception. Impossible things become possible everyday. This is the root desire of consciousness, to expand into the infinite unknown, bringing light into the darkness. By knowing possibility you will illuminate your own infinite potential and release your lack and limitation.</p>
<p>Oh sure, easier said than done, I hear you thinking. Well, if you say so. Actually, the only reason why anything is difficult is because we believe it is. All of our power is in our perception, and therefore the simple act of just stopping for a moment to trust that the right place and right time is right now, your perception will shift, and so will your entire world.</p>
<p>Dr. Wayne Dyer says, &#8220;Anything that has been accomplished by any other human being in the physical realm is within the field of possibility.&#8221; All we have to do is take a good look around and see that we have the power to be, do and have it all. We dreamt about the moon, and then we put a man up there. We wanted to fly and we took to the sky in airplanes and connected across the earth. We are all a possibility waiting to awaken. And how do we do this?</p>
<p>Next time you find yourself doubting an experience, your past, a decision you made, an action you took, or a gut feeling that you are having&#8230;STOP. Just simply become aware that you are creating your own limitation, and all you have to do is trust that this moment right now holds all possibility, and will in fact, unfold perfectly in a way that is for your highest good, and for the good of all. All that is possible is in your hands now, trust it.</p>

<p>Studies conducted at universities in Washington have revealed startling results. According to their study, a receding hairline can essentially be a positive sign for men. People who start balding in their thirties are less likely to suffer from prostate cancer than their hairy counterparts. The study was performed on over 2,000 men between the ages of 40 and 47 and the results are for all to see.</p>
<p>The basis of the study is found in establishing a link between the early loss of hair in men and the levels of testosterone present in their bodies. Greater levels of testosterone in bald men can help reduce the risk of developing tumors. These findings are published in various journals related to cancer.</p>
<p>The research was conducted on men who were presently suffering or had already suffered prostate cancer. Scientists evaluated and contrasted the rate of tumors in those who had experienced hair loss by the age of 30 with those who still had their hair intact. The revelation was that men who had begun to lose hair and develop bald spots in addition receding hairlines showed a decrease of around 29% to 45% in the risk of developing prostate cancer.</p>
<p>Baldness is highly common in men, affecting a majority of them. Researchers are of the opinion that by the time they reach the age of 30, approximately 25-30% men start showing signs of baldness. In fact, one half of all men are likely to undergo considerable hair loss by the time they are 50 years of age. Baldness occurs when the follicles in the scalp are exposed to an excess of a hormone known as dihydrotestosterone (DTH). DTH in turn is a chemical product generated by the male hormone, Testosterone.</p>
<p>Prior to this research it was believed that patients of prostate cancer need to be given drugs to reduce the production of testosterone since they can aggravate the growth of certain tumors which are formed. On the other hand, this study says that high testosterone levels from a young age offer protection against prostate troubles. With this recent study stating results contrary to popular belief, it is a tough job to reach a final conclusion.</p>
